It’s no secret that the film is a delightful and family-oriented movie that’s perfect for anyone seeking out hope. The theme for season 3 is a murder mystery, where Sylvester Pemberton/Starman returns from the dead.
Played by Joel Mchale, Starman offers to train Stargirl as she helps him adjust to his new life in Blue Valley. There will be twists and turns when a mysterious murder happens. It will threaten the newly found commitment of the former super villains and lead Pat Dugan, Stargirl, and Starman to a shocking secret.
What to Expect From Stargirl: Frenemies?
The tagline”frenemies” is the perfect word to describe the relationship between Pat and Barbara and Crusher and Paula after bonding during their parental duties early in season two.
From the season one finale, Starman appears to be alive, and he makes a come back in season three to help Stargirl after passing his superhero mantle through her stepdad, Pat Dugan. While Sylvester Pemberton is still a superhero, there are many questions surrounding his whereabouts in the past ten years and his end-game.
At the end of season 2, superheroes and villains work together, proving that good and bad can sometimes merge to cast out a threat within the community. Another question is whether Cindy has learned her lesson over seasons one and two to change for the better. Season 3 looks to be packed with more action, drama, and emotions.

Will There be a Season 4 of Stargirl?
Stargirl fans still hold out the hope for the continuation of the drama series for a fourth series, despite season three not yet broadcasted. The fear is due to CW canceling shows like DC’s Legend of Tomorrow, Naomi, and Batwoman, which share a common theme as Stargirl. They are all DC Comics properties.
Despite the uncertainties behind the renewal of the fourth season, you should not lose hope for more action from Courtney Whitmore and Yolanda Montez.
